God does not hate you.

God hates sin. Refusing to have "relationship" with sin, i.e., refusing to have it in his presence he refuses to let it into his house. If you hold onto sin (refuse to repent and turn from your wicked ways) you can not enter his house (loosing your inheritance, i.e., eternal life in the process), dying in your sins. He does not hate you, he hates your sin, judging you according to your "relationship" with it or your fellowshipping with him. "[A]nd truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ." 1 John 1:3

God did not create our bodies (which are from the dust of the ground) to live forever. Without having access to the "tree of life" they eventually die on their own. Only our souls, as a result of "the breath of God," are eternal. When we choose flesh, i.e., our love for ("lusting" after) the carnal pleasures of the 'moment,' which the world stimulates and our hate of restraint over and therefore against God's authority we loose any hope of inheriting eternal life, entering into eternal death and damnation instead. Loving our "self" over and therefore against our creator, he has no chose but to reject us for our love of unrighteousness (there is no righteousness in the flesh, i.e., in your "self"). In the end, the only think that is keeping you from eternal life is your "self," choosing it over Him. You can not blame God, who is perfect, demanding perfection and righteousness in his presence. He, through his only begotten Son's death on the cross, shedding his blood to cover your sins, imputing his righteousness to you by faith (that no man may boast), has provided the way for you to enter into His house, i.e., His presence, inheriting eternal life and the peace, joy, and love that comes with it.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:16-18

"And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved." John 3:19-20

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9

"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." John 10:9
